Revenge star Christa B. Allen has claimed she escaped a ‘cult’ after dating its leader, who ‘burned her life to the ground.’
The 13 Going On 30 actor, 33, posted a video on her TikTok page dancing outdoors with the message ‘How it feels rebuilding your life after being in love with a charismatic, wealthy cult leader who burned it to the ground.’
She wrote in the caption: ‘Let me be very clear: nobody can burn down your life unless you give them access to it. That’s the part I’ve had to own.
‘So I’ve sat with the hardest questions: why did I trust him? Why did I hand over my power? Why did I silence my own inner knowing?
‘The truth is, he was selling fairytales and from luxurious penthouses and private jets, I foolishly bought in.
‘What I learned is that even if you spend every waking moment with someone— studying, eating, traveling, working, building, dreaming— you still may not KNOW them. especially when you’re dealing with someone who lies as easily as they breathe.

‘That realization shattered me, but it also forced me to rebuild.’
In a separate video replying to comments on the original post, Allen said that she won’t ‘name names’ but went on to explain how her relationship began and subsequently ended.
She said that she had the ‘most magical, supported, connected and seemingly divinely orchestrated connection’ with her ex, saying that ‘in many ways’ she still believes their meeting was divinely orchestrated.
Allen said while they were together, it was the ‘most supportive and loving dynamic ever,’ and they spent ‘every moment together.’
She then alleges they travelled together and ‘built his business together’ until he ‘cut her off at the knees.’
Allen said she ‘had to take radical responsibility’ because ‘she said yes to all of these things, and she didn’t have to’, such as moving across the country.

The Dangerous Seduction star said her partner had given her an ultimatum of choosing between her job and him, moving in together three days after they met.
Of her ex-partner, Allen claims he is ‘really great at identifying talent for business’ and will ‘select the right woman for the right time’ and ‘do the whole razzle-dazzle to make her fall in love and squeeze everything he possibly can out of her before discarding her and moving on.’
She said there are ‘extracurriculars that put everybody’s health at risk’, ‘especially famous girls’, but did not elaborate on what she meant.
Allen ended the video replies by saying she is ‘doing great’ and that ‘everything is fine’ before thanking her friends and family for their support.
In a second caption, she wrote: ‘I don’t know if it’s right to share all of the details of what happened. maybe it is. all I can say is that it’s wrong to do to so many women what he has done to so many women.
‘He makes major motions to get them to move house, lose their income, be dependent on him in some way, or just be so damn busy building for him they can’t sustain anything else, all while selling the fairytale of a soulmate connection… and then goes and gets with any and everyone else who will have him.
‘To him it is funny, to others it is life-altering. It is the opposite of the goodness he teaches, preaches, and sells, and I think integrity is important. Integrity is defined as your actions matching your values, whether anyone is looking or not. 💗’
