20 Israeli vehicles penetrate the Quneitra countryside in Syria news

Israeli army forces, accompanied by about 20 military vehicles, entered the northern countryside of Quneitra in Syria at dawn on Tuesday, before beginning their withdrawal in the morning.

The Syrian News Agency (SANA) quoted local sources as saying that an Israeli occupation force including 4 tanks penetrated from the Al-Hurriya area towards the village of Ovania in the northern Quneitra countryside, coinciding with the entry of two military vehicles into the same location.

The sources indicated that occupation tanks and vehicles arrived in the vicinity of Tal Al-Ahmar and Ain Al-Nouriya.

The sources reported that another military convoy of the occupation, consisting of about 10 vehicles, entered the entrance to the village of Ain al-Nouriya, and stopped for some time near the junction leading to the towns of Taranja, Jabata al-Khashab, Ovania, al-Hurriya, Khan Arnaba, and the village of Nabeh al-Fawwar.

Other occupation tanks were stationed on the road between the Agriculture High School and Al Faqir Maasar, and continued their movement on the old road between Ain Aisha and the town of Khan Arnabah.

In turn, the Syrian News Agency said that the occupation forces set up a checkpoint on the highway known as Al-Salam Road, stopping pedestrians for inspection and preventing the passage of vehicles.

Since the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime on December 8, 2024, the Israeli army has repeatedly penetrated into Syrian territory and launched air strikes that killed civilians and destroyed military sites, vehicles, weapons and ammunition belonging to the army.

Israel ended the disengagement agreement with Syria, occupied the buffer zone between the occupied Golan, the Syrian territories, and Mount Hermon. It also carried out widespread attacks and intervened to support anti-government militants in Suwayda.
