AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office responded to Essie McIntire Blvd at Luckey St at 10:39pm on June 15th for reports of a shooting.
On arrival, deputies located a male victim laying on his back unresponsive with an apparent gunshot wound.
He has been identified as Solomon Lanham.
Lanham was transported to Wellstar where he succumbed to his injuries.
No word on any suspects at this time.
