Google, Spotify and YouTube down for tens of thousands of users worldwide

Google platforms, Spotify and YouTube are down for tens of thousands of users worldwide.

There were 13,000 reports of issues with Google Cloud and 27,000 reports for Spotify just before 2.30pm ET on Thursday, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages of online services.

At the same time, there were 559 reports of issues with YouTube, Downdetector showed.
