Just six weeks before Thanksgiving, the Aldi supermarket chain launches an offer, From October 15 to December 24, a special dinner for a total price of $40, with 21 basic products that can feed 10 people.
This is an offer with an average cost of $4 per person. The offer seeks to counteract the increase in food prices, reducing the cost of a traditional Christmas dinner, compared to 2024, when this dinner was $47, that is, the savings is $7.
The offer is available to the general public as no loyalty card or coupon is required. Aldi’s proposal responds to the increase in grocery prices (the fastest rate since 2022) due to factors such as bad weather, labor shortages and tariffs, according to the specialized portal Today.
What does Aldi dinner include?
The dinner contains traditional foods that are customary to eat on Thanksgiving Day, such as turkey, green beans, pumpkin, sweet potato, potatoes, cranberries and more.
Dinner includes one whole turkey (14 pounds), Chicken broth, Condensed cream of mushroom soup, Evaporated milk, Hawaiian sweet rolls, Miniature marshmallows, Cut green beans (x2 cans), 100% pure canned pumpkin, Shells and cheese (x2 boxes), Brown gravy mix (x3 packages), Poultry spices and herbs Free Range, French Fried Onions, Pie Crust, Chicken or Cornbread Stuffing (x2 packages), Whipped Dairy Topping, Yellow Onions (3 lbs.), Peeled Baby Carrots, Celery, Cranberries, Sweet Potatoes (3 lbs.), and Russet Potatoes (10 lbs.).
This package of 21 products not only guarantees a complete meal for 10 people, but also reinforces the perception of Aldi as a chain committed to affordability compared to its competitors.
