Aldi has become a go-to place for all things kitchen, cooking and home, especially when shoppers are looking for a good price. This time of year, it amps up its bakeware and baking gadget and tool options as people start making sheet-pan meals and baked goods.
Its new lineup of Aldi Finds launched yesterday, and there are oodles of items I’m adding to my list. Between baking dish sets, cooling racks, measuring cups, rolling pins, silicone baking mats, mixing bowls, ramekins, spatulas, turners and oven mitts—if you need it, Aldi has it.
Along with everything else, Aldi is also dropping one of my favorite items: the Crofton 3-Piece Cookie Sheet Set in gold. Yes, this set is perfect for baking fall cookies, like pumpkin snickerdoodle and oatmeal raisin, but it’s also great for batch-cooking healthy meals like salmon with fingerlings and Brussels sprouts, and chicken thighs with sweet potatoes and green beans.
You can throw just about any protein, starchy vegetable and nonstarchy vegetable on these trays, toss them in a bit of olive or avocado oil, and sprinkle with your favorite seasonings to roast to perfection. It’s easy, fast, and nutritious, and it checks all the boxes for a balanced meal.
Crofton 3-Piece Cookie Sheet Set in Gold, $12.99 at Aldi
This set isn’t just your average set of baking sheets. The matte gold finish is sleek-looking, making these baking sheets comparable to high-end versions. The rimmed edges keep food neatly inside the baking sheet, and the ends are adorned with rubber-padded handles for easy placement in and removal from the oven.
As for sizing, Aldi hasn’t provided specific dimensions, but it appears there are three sizes: small, medium and large. For just $12.99, you can have all of them, which are suitable for different foods and meal sizes.
Aldi is also selling a plain grey matte set just like this one, or you can grab the three-piece cookie sheet sets in a gold or grey diamond pattern. It all depends on what look you’re going for or what’s in stock.
When these, and the other fall baking items, drop on Oct. 22, they’ll likely sell out fast, as shoppers tend to stock up. Especially this time of year when oven meals are popular, as well as baking cookies, scones and other pastries. Be sure to grab a set if you’re in the market.
