Los Angeles, October 16 (However).- John Boltonformer national advisor to the President of the United States, Donald Trumpwas charged Thursday with several crimes for a great federal juror in Maryland.
Bolton He is charged with eight counts of transmitting information National defense and 10 counts of withholding National Defense information. He served as National Security Advisor to Trump during his first term, during the period from April 2018 to September 2019.
Bolton is the third high-profile opponent of Trump to be criminally charged in recent weeks after being criticized by the President.
This summer, FBI agents executed a search warrant at Bolton’s home in Maryland and his office in Washington, D.C. They seized multiple documents classified as “secret,” “confidential” and “classified,” including some on weapons of mass destruction, according to court records.

On August 9, New York Attorney General Letitia James was charged with fraud in Alexandria, Virginia. James has been under investigation since May for a mortgage due in 2023 that he took out to help his niece buy a home in Norfolk, Virginia.
The grand jury presented two charges against the Democratic Prosecutor: bank fraud and false statements to a financial institution, according to the Department of Justice in a statement.
The Governor of New York, Kathy Hochul, declared on social media that the accusation against Letitia James “is nothing less than the use of the Department of Justice as a weapon to punish those who hold the powerful responsible.” He praised James for his “tireless fight for justice.”
Democratic Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said in a press release: “This is what tyranny looks like. President Trump is using the Justice Department as his personal attack dog, attacking Attorney General Tish James for the crime of prosecuting him for fraud, and winning.”
