Christmas is all about letting your hair down, eating good food, and celebrating the festive season in style. While the local pub or bar might be your typical haunt for the annual office outing or catch-up with mates, how about ruffling a few festive feathers instead?
Clays is the ultimate interactive clay target shooting experience, and brings the thrill of the countryside activity to the buzz of the city.
There are four venues to pick from, including Moorgate, Canary Wharf, Soho, and Birmingham, and this year, Clays is releasing a Christmas menu as well as some amazing party packages to get the celebrations started with a bang.
Each venue has its own unique Christmas theme, from Classic Celebrations in Soho to Glam Nights in Canary Wharf, Retro Festivities in the City, and Disco Fever in Birmingham.
The menus at all four venues have been crafted by Culinary Director Roger Olsson and Director of Operations Jon Calabrese, and use fresh, seasonal ingredients that are sustainably sourced.
Among the dishes on offer are the first-ever Clays Christmas Slider, which features local free-range turkey with sautéed sprouts, cranberry sauce, a baconnaise sauce, and watercress, all layered together in a sage and onion brioche bun. The Pigs in Blankets are made with Aubrey Allen sausages wrapped in free-range British bacon, and glazed with cranberry, port, and orange. For a sweet finish, there’s also the Mini Mince Pies, which are bite-sized and brimming with flavour.
Whether it’s a small gathering or a big night out, there’s a backdrop for every vibe. Party packages start from as little as £52 per person, going up to £146, and offer options like unlimited gameplay, festive food and drinks, and even the option of free-flowing booze.
If you’re after a more intimate celebration, The Hide rooms in Soho and the City both have a luxurious sanctuary for up to 35 guests. You can be treated to a self-service bar with Clays’ signature clarified cocktails on tap, as well as your own shooting peg, and a fully festive setup.
If you’re in a larger group, you can have the Private Room in Soho, which can hold up to 100 people, and is kitted out with a bar, DJ facilities, and three private shooting pegs.
Last-minute plans? You can always drop by Clays Arcade in Soho or Birmingham with up to four of your mates and dive right into some fast-paced festive fun with some reimagined games.
