The government of Alessandra RDLV gave 7 million pesos for the acquisition of construction materials to a firm that was in charge of a non-existent gazette at the mayoral level

Mexico City. – The administration of Alessandra Rojo de la Vega in the mayor’s office Cuauhtemoc allocated public resources as part of its expenses in the acquisition of materials for public works, to a company that reports being capable of making contracts for any object and that was in charge of printing a magazine for a mayor’s office, but without this publication existing.

Through a contract by restricted invitation, the Directorate of Material Resources and General Services of Cuauhtémoc agreed on May 7th to a contract with 2+2 Promotional SA DE CV., for an amount of 7 million 200 thousand pesos for the object “Acquisition of Other Materials and Items for Construction and Repair”, according to the contracting reports made in the second quarter of 2025 via transparency.

In the public version of the contracting document, the acquisition of materials such as enamel and vinyl paint, varnish, sandpaper, glues, sealants, plugs, as well as rollers and brushes was requested. The current hiring of the Rojo de la Vega administration was also made without the firm 2+2 Promocionales SA DE CV being authorized in the list of suppliers to have contracts by the mayor’s office.

The supply of these materials contrasts with other objects of contracts in which 2+2 Promocionales SA DE CV has been involved, such as in 2022 when the then mayoral government Tlalpan He asked the company for the printing service of the so-called “Periódico de la Alcaldía Tlalpan”, a publication that did not exist in that year.

In addition to the printing service, the company reported having contracts with the same mayor’s office for the security vehicle labeling service, while in the previous government of Cuauhtémoc, with Sandra Cuevas in charge, it received 1.5 million pesos for the acquisition of electrical material, although this was a service reported as absent in the last year.
