Amazon Web Services (AWS) assures that the majority of its services have already recovered after the errors detected in one of its US regions, which caused incidents a thousands of users around the world.
The largest network of cloud servers in the world reported this Monday that it is working to achieve a complete resolution of the service after the outage that affected social networks, gaming platforms, computer systems, websites and applications around the world.
At the moment most requests to AWS services should be being processed “correctly”, although errors can still be detected due to the backlog of requests in queue.

Shortly after the incident, AWS claimed to have identified a possible cause of the recorded problem and that the key was in one of its US data centers.
The reported errors have taken place in the Northern Virginia AWS FacilitiesUnited States, one of the largest and oldest data centers of this company, as confirmed by the company.
After two hours since the incident was first reported, AWS had counted a total of 58 services on its platform affected and even one of them completely interrupted, Amazon DynamoDB – a database.
Precisely that Amazon service and the process it follows to communicate with the aforementioned US data center is what seems to be at the origin of the problem, according to the details that AWS has offered on its website.
