Three months following the death of her husband, rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, Sharon Osbourne has suffered another personal loss.
On Sunday, Sharon shared on Instagram that she recently lost her dog Elvis, a Siberian Husky.
He was 14 years old.
“I can’t believe I am posting this but my darling Elvis passed away this week,” she wrote. “He gave me 14 precious year. He was by my side until the end. Rest in peace my darling boy! 💔”
Condolences pouring in
Immediately after she told the world about Elvis’ death, Osbourne’s comments section was filled with well-wishers mourning her loss.
“May Ozzy watch over him till y’all meet again ❤️,” one fan commented.
“Omg no!! 💔 sending you love, prayers, and hugs.. I’m so sorry 😢,” a second person said.
“He was such a special boy Sharon, I’m broken hearted for you. Rest in Peace Elvis. You were such a good boy. And you will be missed dearly,” said Dancing with the Stars‘ Carrie Ann Inaba.
“What a beautiful boy. So very sorry for your loss,” a fourth commenter said.
“I’m so very sorry Sharon. Sending you all my love,” a fifth person said.
This is the second dog death for the Osbournes in the last two years. In 2024, the family lost their 15-year-old Pomeranian, Rocky.
More grief for the Osbournes
Ozzy Osbourne passed away on July 22 at the age of 76, just weeks after his “Back to the Beginning” farewell concert with Black Sabbath in his hometown of Birmingham, England.
The “Crazy Train” singer’s cause of death was determined to be from a combination of cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease.
“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,” Osbourne’s family said in a statement at the time. “He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer was laid to rest in an emotional ceremony in Birmingham on July 30.
