This Monday, the head of the Welfare Secretariat, Ariadna Montielpresented the Integrated Support Plan for Those Affected by the Rains for Hidalgo, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí, Puebla and Veracruz during “La Mañanera” of the President Claudia Sheinbaum. This plan includes the delivery of direct economic support for families affected by the extraordinary rains that affected these entities from October 6 to 9.
Montiel declared that, on instructions from the President, The delivery of the first economic support of 20 thousand pesos will begin on Wednesday, October 22 for “all affected homes that have been censused” after the damage.
“With this support, a voucher for household goods and a voucher for basic baskets will be provided. From October 22 to the 29 of this month, the payment will be made for the states of: Puebla, Veracruz, San Luis Potosí and Querétaro. In the case of the state of Hidalgo, we continue censusing, from October 25 to November 5, the support will be delivered“, reported the owner.

Montiel also asked the affected people to keep an eye on their cell phones, as a text message would be sent to them so that citizens could come in an orderly manner to collect said support.
“We are going to make the call in several ways. […] We are going to send you a message to your cell phone with the date, time and place to go to the collection so that it can be ordered. […] We will also do it at the territorial level, the nation’s servants will warn house to house, with megaphones; be attentive.”
To collect this support, the owner asked the families to present the “sparkle” that they were given when they were registered and an official identification with a photo to collect the initial payment.
