Anti-corruption president accuses pressure to avoid Adán Augusto case

She added that “due to pressure from a counselor from the @ComiteCPC and harassment of the support team, it was ordered to remove it from the networks. As a Mexican who fights for integrity in my country, I reject the censorship.”

The Citizen Participation Committee of the National Anti-Corruption System requested that investigate the financial situation of Adán Augusto López Hernándezholder of the Senate Political Coordination Board and former presidential candidate.

El Sistema indicated that “in recent days, public allegations have been made about possible financial and fiscal inconsistencies, as well as possible conflicts of interest, related to Senator Adán Augusto López Hernández.”

Due to the relevance of the legislative investiture of his position and “the duty of those who make up the Senate to set an example, it is necessary to unambiguously clarify any reasonable doubt and guarantee accountability to citizens.”

The accusations against the former head of the Ministry of the Interior merit “official, prompt and documented verification.”
