“Citizen representatives of various Citizen Participation Committees, and I, launch this statement; the result of collective work for public integrity. We want an in-depth investigation into the discrepancies in the asset and tax declaration of Senator @adan_augusto,” indicated the president of the National Anti-Corruption System in her X account.
She added that “due to pressure from a counselor from the @ComiteCPC and harassment of the support team, it was ordered to remove it from the networks. As a Mexican who fights for integrity in my country, I reject the censorship.”

He SNA has among its members the head of the Anti-Corruption SecretariatRaquel Buenrostro, María de la Luz Mijangos Borjaholder of the Prosecutor’s Office Specialized in Combating Corruptionamong others.
The Citizen Participation Committee of the National Anti-Corruption System requested that investigate the financial situation of Adán Augusto López Hernándezholder of the Senate Political Coordination Board and former presidential candidate.
“No one is above the law and parliamentary jurisdiction should not become impunity. The institutional way to address public allegations is to investigate, verify and communicate results, based on evidence, preserving the presumption of innocence and due process.”
This position was signed by Vania Pérez Morales, president of the SNA Citizen Participation Committee, as well as her counterpart in Puebla, Elisa Gonzálezand members of local committees in that entity and Guerrero.

El Sistema indicated that “in recent days, public allegations have been made about possible financial and fiscal inconsistencies, as well as possible conflicts of interest, related to Senator Adán Augusto López Hernández.”
Due to the relevance of the legislative investiture of his position and “the duty of those who make up the Senate to set an example, it is necessary to unambiguously clarify any reasonable doubt and guarantee accountability to citizens.”
The accusations against the former head of the Ministry of the Interior merit “official, prompt and documented verification.”
