The SEP highlighted that, during the 2024-2025 school year, The beneficiaries of the Rita Cetina Universal Scholarship went from 5 million 603 thousand 611 to 8 million 864 thousand 448which, he said, represents an increase of 58.2% and a historic investment of 75 billion pesos.
In that sense, he pointed out that the scope of the Rita Cetina Universal Scholarship is also reflected in the increase in beneficiary families, which went from 4 million 181 thousand 353 to 7 million 41 thousand 356, an increase of 68.7%.
Besides, He specified that coverage extends from the initial level to secondary school.: 2 thousand 65 girls and boys at the initial level; 423 thousand 93 preschool; 3 million 189 thousand 802 in primary school, and 5 million 249 thousand 488 in secondary school.
