The governor Rubén Rocha Moya denied that there are ongoing investigations against the companies of the Salinas Group in Sinaloaand completely ruled out that there were any accusations related to the soccer stadium that houses the team Mazatlán FC., one of the main sporting attractions of the port and which has solid support from local fans and visitors.
Through his social networks, the state president responded to the statements previously issued by the businessman Ricardo Salinas Pliegowho He claimed to have received information about alleged government instructions to investigate his companies, and even try to fabricate accusations against him.
In his publication, Rocha Moya reiterated that Sinaloa guarantees a favorable environment for investment, both national and foreign, offering businessmen legal security and respect for their rights, elements that—he stated— They are fundamental to economic growth and strengthening the rule of law.
The message also served to establish an institutional position regarding the statements of the owner of TV Azteca and Mazatlán FC, who expressed his concern about alleged attempts by the state government to hinder the operation of his soccer team, as well as the concession of the stadium, processed during the previous administration.
Salinas Pliego argued that the team represents an important source of benefits for Sinaloa, by generating positive visibility, economic benefits and tourist attraction, which is why he questioned the meaning of a possible attempt to marginalize the club, especially in a complicated context for the entity in terms of security.
The state administration, for its part, has reiterated its willingness to maintain a climate of respect and legality for all investments, regardless of the business group to which they belong.
