For today, front no. 8 with stationary characteristics will interact with a high-altitude trough extended from the east of the Gulf of Mexico to the Yucatan Peninsula, a low pressure channel over the west of said gulf and atmospheric instability in the southeast of the countrywhich will cause intense occasional rains in Veracruz (regions: Los Tuxtlas and Olmeca) and Chiapas (regions: Selva, Fronteriza and Soconusco); very heavy occasional rains in Veracruz (region: Papaloapan), Tabasco (regions: Sierra and Chontalpa) and Oaxaca (regions: Papaloapan, Istmo and Sierra Norte); and heavy occasional rains in Veracruz (region: Las Montañas), Puebla (regions: Valle Serdán and Tehuacán-Sierra Negra), and areas of Campeche, Yucatán and Quintana Roo, in addition to rains and showers in northeastern Mexico.

In addition, The mass of cold air associated with the frontal system will modify its thermal characteristics, leading to a gradual increase in temperatures in the east of the country..
Likewise, winds from the north will continue with gusts of 35 to 50 km/h on the coasts of Veracruz, and gusts of 55 to 70 km/h in Oaxaca (isthmus and gulf of Tehuantepec). During the night, this front will weaken over the northeast of the Gulf of Mexico, ceasing to affect the country..
FORECAST FOR TUESDAY, OCTOBER 21
A new cold front in interaction with the subtropical jet stream will approach the northern border of Mexico, where it will generate strong gusts of wind of 40 to 60 km/h in that region.. For its part, a trough at medium and high levels of the atmosphere will travel through the northwest of the country, causing winds with gusts of up to 50 km/h in said region, as well as a drop in temperatures in Baja California.

FORECAST FOR WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 22
The new cold front will extend over the northeast of the national territoryin combination with the subtropical jet stream and the entry of moisture from the Gulf of Mexico, will cause intervals of showers in Tamaulipas and San Luis Potosí. The cold air mass associated with the frontal system will generate a cooling of temperatures in the northeast of the country; as well as wind with gusts of 45 to 60 km/h in areas of Coahuila, Nuevo León and Tamaulipas.
