It was strange that former French football star Zinedine Zidane excluded Argentine star Lionel Messi from his choices for the ideal player.
In an interview with the newspaper “Gazzetta dello Sport”, Zidane entered the challenge of choosing the “ideal player” for the French legend who won the 1998 World Cup, and Zidane chose himself in 4 out of 11 options to form the ideal player.
Zidane ignores Ronaldo
“Zizou” did not choose Messi in any of the 10 available options, while Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo was present in these options:

- Right foot: Zidane
- Headers: Zidane
- Strength: Ibrahimovic
- Dribbling: Del Piero
- Goals: Ronaldo Nazario and Cristiano Ronaldo
- Vision: Zidane
- Long passes: Modric
