Mórbido will celebrate the fear, imagination and narrative power of genre cinema, reaffirming its role as a meeting point for creators, dreamers and horror fans from around the world.

Master Rafael Gallur, living legend of Mexican comics, whose work has marked generations, created this year’s official image. With a playful and diabolical style, Gallur captures the expansion and strength of Mórbido within Mexico City: a festival that not only exhibits cinema, but inhabits the streets, dreams and nightmares of those who experience it.

Furthermore, for the first time, the festival opens the doors to the Middle East, with a special block that brings together short films from Jordan, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Iran, marking a milestone in the history of the festival.
