Starbucks’ traditional “Red Cup Day,” which marks the start of the holiday season, now has a date: Thursday, November 13. The coffee giant announced that customers who purchase a craft Christmas drink at a participating store will receive a free reusable red Christmas cup, while supplies last.

Starbucks is preparing its staff for Red Cup Day, so it will have more baristas in stores to prepare drinks and serve customers.

The tradition dates back to 1997, when the first Christmas cups emerged, but it was in 2022 that it officially launched Red Cup Day with a collection of free reusable red cups.

The news was well received on social networks, where fans of the brand celebrate the return of the glasses and share tips and tricks to avoid being left without their glass.
