Thanksgiving is just around the corner and folks are seeking ways to make preparing the holiday feast easier, quicker and more delicious while maintaining a low budget. Many retailers are offering pre-made meals that just require heating, while others are offering a cart full of ingredients for a low price so you can make your own spread.
Sam’s Club is bringing back their fan-favorite Thanksgiving menu, and fans are thrilled. According to Sam’s Club, their upgraded menu is chef-inspired and member-designed, meaning their Member’s Mark Community of over 50,000 participants had a say in the menu and recipes.
“This year’s Thanksgiving feast was designed by and for our members,” said Dr. Suzanne Jervis, senior director of consumer and sensory insights at Sam’s Club. “We looked at thousands of data points and member comments, and the message was clear: our members wanted more variety, more freshness and the same incredible value. Every new dish and change came from their voices.”
Because of this strategy, shoppers will notice a few differences from last year’s menu. Rather than offering Brussels sprouts, their new Green Beans with Cranberries and Sliced Almonds will be the star veggie dish, as well as Garlic Herb Corn. And the Sweet Potato Mash has been tweaked to improve flavor and texture. The entire feast feeds 10 people and will retail for less than $100, and there is one additional side dish without increasing the price.

“Our members shaped every detail of this year’s meal,” said Kirsten Evans, senior vice president of Member’s Mark brand. “It’s about creating something that feels celebratory, meaningful and attainable — food that brings people together without compromise.”
