Two children and a woman die and there are thousands of people without electricity

Russia does not relax its offensive against Ukraine. After the suspension of the summit in Budapest because Vladimir Putin refuses a truce, Moscow has launched a massive attack on several areas of Ukraine, leaving three dead, two of them children, and thousands of people without electricity in the south due to bombings against energy infrastructure.

This morning Russia launched a night missile and drone attack on kyiv. EThe attack caused a fire on the eighth and ninth floors of a residential building and damaged other residential infrastructure in the Dnipro district of the Ukrainian capital.

The Russian bombing has also caused damage to civil infrastructure in the districts of Pechersk, Darnitsia and Solomianski.

There are at least three deaths, as confirmed by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Among the dead are two children.

Energy infrastructures

This Russian attack is still active and has also been launched against other regions of Ukraine, as usual, and against Ukrainian electrical and gas infrastructure.

In fact, one of the most affected regions is Odessa, in the south, where thousands of people are without electricityas reported by the private company DTEK, which operates the attacked facilities.

“Energy sector workers have reconnected critical infrastructure and homes to reserve lines (of the grid) wherever technically possible, and have restored electricity to 14,200 families,” reads a statement issued by the company.

DTEK also says that The damage suffered by the facilities reached is “significant” and that repair work continues.

Russia also attacked gas infrastructure located in Poltavain central Ukraine.
