All 23 Emmerdale pictures for next week as teens plot daring escape

There’s a lot of drama ahead on Emmerdale next week, as Metro’s gallery of new pictures reveals.

DS Carter is back in the Dales with some questions for Kev Townsend (Chris Coghill) after an attack on an old friend.

During her visit, she spots Ray Walters (Joe Absolom), who heads over to chat, ditching his backpack behind a wall on the way.

As Carter watches him walk off, she unknowingly prevents him from collecting the backpack.

When the rucksack is scooped up by Ross Barton (Michael Parr), Ray orders Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) to retrieve it. After attempting to get the bag back, he goes back to Ray empty-handed, and is stunned when he berates him.

However, he later confesses to April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) that he found the bag after all, and there was enough money inside for them both to do a runner.

Will they manage to get away?

Meanwhile, Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) meets with Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) and Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) to read over the coroner’s report of the limo crash, which claimed the lives of Amy Wyatt and Leyla Harding, as well as Suzy Merton.

The report leaves Matty upset and, ignoring calls from boss Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson), Kerry attempts to cheer him up with a drinking game.

Her efforts backfire when Jai arrives and, not realising the emotional context of the situation, fires her on the spot.

When Caleb Miligan (William Ash) catches wind of Kerry’s dismissal, he demands that Jai rehire her. However, it becomes clear that Jai is determined to make her work life hellish, but when she decides to quit, she ends up accidentally pulling of the door handle and locking them both in a room together.

Elsewhere, Ruby Miligan (Beth Cordingly) is horrified to find Anya packing to leave, and furiously confronts Caleb, insisting that she is staying.

Witnessing the argument, Anya realises she’s outstayed her welcome, and the next day Ruby is gutted to find that she has gone.
