The heartbroken family of a devoted Manchester City fan has paid tribute to the football lover after his sudden death while on a trip to Benidorm.
Guy Bradshaw, 35, described as a ‘true Wythenshawe legend,’ had travelled to Spain to watch his football team play against Villarreal in the Champions League.
Just hours before the match, Guy was found dead by his friend at the apartment he was staying at on Tuesday, October 21.
His cause of death has not yet been confirmed, but it is understood that the family has been informed that there are no suspicious circumstances.
A GoFundMe has been set up to help pay for bringing Guy home, his funeral, and to support his 12-year-old daughter.

As the trip was booked last minute, Guy forgot to book travel insurance, meaning the family now faces a substantial bill to bring him back home.
Guy’s dad, Martin, 56, was on his way to meet Guy at the game but changed his route when he heard of his son’s passing.
He told Manchester Evening News: ‘A lot of people have bad words for social media but the lovely messages, lovely pictures, thousands of pictures I’ve seen are touching and gives me that comfort to cope while I’m here.
‘I’m also getting hands-on support from the staff at City, who have been extraordinary. I don’t know what I would have done without them turning up to help us at such a difficult time.
‘We’re doing this for Guy because he deserves everything.’
Guy’s cousin described him as a ‘gentle’ man who ‘idolised his daughter’ and ‘lived for the City’.
His sudden death has left the whole family feeling ’empty,’ she said.
A Manchester City spokesman posted on X today: ‘We are deeply saddened by the passing of Guy Bradshaw, a City supporter who tragically died in Spain before the Club’s match against Villarreal last night.
‘Everyone at the Club sends their condolences to his family, friends, and fellow fans during this difficult time. Once a Blue, Always a Blue.’
One fellow Manchester City fan posted on X: ‘RIP to the biggest blue there ever was! Followed the club over land and sea all his life and through the lower divisions when we were younger. Rest in peace, mate.’
Just hours before he was found, Guy posted a video with Ricky Hatton’s son, Campbell Hatton, where the pair were both smiling and singing.
