Bon Jovi Set To Return With Stadium Tour After Years-Long Hiatus

One of the most successful bands of all time will hit the road next year after a four-year absence from touring. On Wednesday, Bon Jovi announced that they will embark on a stadium tour in 2026, visiting some of the most iconic venues in the world.

The “Bon Jovi Forever Tour” will begin next summer, and the band will be back in full for the first time since lead singer Jon Bon Jovi’s vocal cord surgery in 2022.

“There is a lot of joy in this announcement — joy that we can share these nights together with our amazing fans and joy that the band can be together,” the singer said in the band’s announcement.

Where Will Fans Be Able to See the Band?

“I am lucky enough to be able to hold a light out to the audience each night and stand in their reflection for a tremendous collective experience — I get to stand in the WE of our concerts.”

The seven-show tour will begin in the world’s most famous arena, Madison Square Garden. Bon Jovi will play four shows at MSG before traveling across the Atlantic for dates in Edinburgh, Dublin and London.

Last year, Jon Bon Jovi told Entertainment Weekly that the band wouldn’t return to touring until he was able to perform vocally every night on stage.

“The point is, I got to be able to do two and a half hours a night, four nights a week, before I’m gonna say yes,” he said. “And then, God willing, we can take it out on the road and get out there with the people and then see their reaction to it.”

New Music is Coming Ahead of the Tour

The band announced the tour to accompany the re-release of their 2024 album “Forever.” The reissue, titled “Forever (Legendary Edition)” includes duets with stars like Lainey Wilson, Bruce Springsteen, Jelly Roll and Robbie Williams.

“This album is more than just a collection of collaborations, it is an album borne out of necessity,” Jon Bon Jovi said about the album.

The singer explained that he was able to handle recording the album, but that touring wouldn’t be feasible as he continued his recovery efforts from the surgery.

“Without the ability to tour or promote an album we were all very proud of, I decided to call on some friends to help me in my time of need. All are great singers, artists, and also just great people,” he added.

“The result is an album with a new viewpoint and new spirit — a collaboration album that proves we all get by in this world with a little help from our friends.  I feel tremendous joy and gratitude releasing this album and I think it shows in the music.”

“Forever (Legendary Edition) releases on Friday, October 24. Fans can access pre-sale tickets on Monday, while the general ticket release is set for October 31. The tour officially kicks off on July 7 in New York at Madison Square Garden.
