A MAFS UK 2025 couple swap appears to be coming up on the horizon. There have been a few rumours here and there of potential dramas, but now someone has shared the hard evidence of one switch up, and I back it.
For the last few episodes, there’s been a huge focus on the downfall of Julia-Ruth and Divarni, and her saying she fancies Steven. But, has this all been a red herring? It would seem the real drama has been right in front of our noses this entire time, we just haven’t managed to see it.
Whilst all the drama has been going on with Julia-Ruth and Divarni, the marriage of Maeve and Joe has also been heading south. They looked so good, but when Joe left to deal with the loss of his grandad, Maeve felt left behind. Joe has also opened up to fellow groom Ashley, wondering if he actually has true feelings for Maeve.
Joe arrived late at the couples’ retreat, and it was straight into another argument with Maeve. So, from this, the streets are saying the real couple swap is happening between Julia-Ruth and Joe. And there’s evidence.

Posting on TikTok, maybe one of the best MAFS gossip diggers I’ve ever seen, revealed the “magnitude of warnings” we’ve had that this might be coming. Divarni’s cousin had commented on one of her posts saying: “What you all think you about what’s going on with Julia-Ruth is much worse… get ready for the most unbelievable thing I’ve seen or heard on this show ever”. She added she “nearly fell out my chair” when she heard what had gone down.
The poster then noted that Julia-Ruth has made multiple statements on Instagram since the show has started, and all have “implied her behaviour is going to get worse”.
So, how does Joe come into this? Well, Steven’s brother has since come out and said Steven isn’t involved in a future couple swap with Julia-Ruth. It was then noted that Maeve and Joe’s relationship isn’t looking too good. Plus, Maeve has followed the majority of the brides on Instagram since the show, but guess who she hasn’t followed? Julia-Ruth.
The digging continues. The creator then noted the cast have been going on PR trips together since filming wrapped, and posting some cute photos. But who is absent from all the pictures? Julia-Ruth and Joe. Julia-Ruth was even at the same event, at the same time, just didn’t go with the rest of the cast. There’s beef there, there has to be.
The final point the TikTok made was that Julia-Ruth suddenly seemed to have a change of heart at the most recent commitment ceremony, and was telling the group she was in fact attracted to Divarni. So what changed? Oh wait. It was the week Joe wasn’t there to witness it.
What’s more, let’s not forget how the couple swap of 2024 went down. Hannah and Orson ended up getting close where? At the couples’ retreat, of course. The producers know what they’re doing when they bring the whole cast together, just as relationships start to break down.
Look, nothing is confirmed right now, and it’s all just harmless speculation. But I can see it, I really can.
