Iztacalco carries out a security operation tour prior to the great Formula 1 2025 event – ​​Diario Basta!

● More than 3,900 elements and 400 official vehicles participate in the special operation to guarantee an event with a white balance.

With the commitment to guarantee security and order during the Mexican Grand Prix 2025a supervision tour was carried out in the vicinity of the great Hermanos Rodríguez Autodrome, F1 headquarters, as part of the operation prior to the event that will bring together more than a million visitors, said inspection was attended by the Secretary of Government, César Cravioto Romero; the Legal Counsel, Eréndira Cruzvillegas; the Mayor of Venustiano Carranza; Evelin Parrathe Mayor of Iztacalco, Lourdes Paz and representatives of the General Directorate of Citizen Concertation, the Directorate of Citizen Security, the General Directorate of Government, Public Roads and Civil Protection of the Iztacalco mayor’s office.

The mayor reported that the special operation includes the participation of 3,900 security elements, supported by more than 400 official vehicles, who will carry out prevention, surveillance and road work from Friday, October 24 to Sunday, October 26, when the main day of the event concludes.

“In Iztacalco we welcome each and every visitor who comes to this great event of international stature. I thank the organizers and reiterate that Iztacalco is the House of Salt, but we are also the House of Great Shows and the headquarters of the Mexican Grand Prix,” he expressed. Lourdes Paz Reyes.

Likewise, the president called on attendees to use public transportation or the macro parking lots enabled by the capital’s Government, from which buses will operate to the Autodromo, in order to avoid congestion and improper parking.

Lourdes Paz highlighted that the population of Iztacalco awaits with great joy the tenth edition of this event, which has turned Mexico City into the capital of the most important sporting events worldwide.

It is expected that with this great event there will be an economic impact of more than 20 billion pesos and the creation of more than 9 thousand jobs in sectors such as tourism, lodging, gastronomy among other services.

One of the great attractions will be the Pavilion “Mexico City, Big Heart”a thematic space that will show the world a hospitable, cultural, vibrant, cosmopolitan and proudly Mexican city. The pavilion will include an exhibition alluding to the 700 years of the founding of Mexico-Tenochtitlán, elements of the Day of the Dead and a sample of the City’s path towards the 2026 Soccer World Cup.
