Delta Air Lines is getting fancy with its menu, and the airline is getting help from a celebrity chef.
The company announced on Thursday that, starting Nov. 4, Delta will roll out a new menu for select passengers inspired by popular chef José Andrés. Delta will have a phased rollout planned through 2026.
According to The Points Guy, the idea was concocted last year at the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, TX, where Delta CEO Ed Bastian and Andrés launched the idea. In the months since, the teams have been fine-tuning menus and several recipe iterations, the outlet reported.
Some of the fine-tuning, per Delta, included tweaking portion sizes, reheating methods, and presentation “so that every bite tastes just as good in the air as it would in a Barcelona tapas bar.”
Now, the airline says its Delta One and domestic first-class passengers will soon get to enjoy the new menu perfected by Andrés.

A taste of Spain
Per Delta, entrée items include:
- Spanish Tortilla with Pisto Manchego: A classic Spanish egg-and-potato omelet elevated with a rich vegetable stew, served at breakfast.
- Braised Beef Short Rib in a Mojo Rojo BBQ Sauce: Tender and savory, with a tangy, smoky sauce and creamy polenta that’s deeply satisfying.
- Stuffed Piquillo Peppers: Packed with flavor, a goat-cheese and mushroom filling drizzled with piquillo bechamel is the star of the show.
- Spanish Style Chicken: Chicken thigh with a rich sauce of sherry and dried fruit, served with celeriac-potato puree, roasted carrots and pearl onions.

Thoughtfully Curated Selection of Wine
Delta is also introducing this month “its most exceptional Delta One wine program to date.” The program launched this month and will be available through September 2026.
The program is in collaboration with world-renowned Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson, with wines from Italy, France, and Napa Valley.
Some of those wines include Stag’s Leap Cabernet Sauvignon, Marchesi Antinori Cont’Ugo Super Tuscan, Trefethen Family Vineyards Estate Grown Chardonnay, and VIK “A” Cabernet Sauvignon.
These wines will be available on select dates and routes.
