With the commitment to guarantee access to free, comprehensive and quality medical services for all Iztacal residents, the Iztacalco Mayor’s Office, through the General Directorate of Social Development, implements the program “Health for the People 2025”, a strategy that strengthens first-level care and prevention in community health.

This program aims to provide first-contact medical care to more than five thousand inhabitants of the district—including girls, boys, adolescents, women and men without age limits—to improve their physical and social well-being through continuous and free services.

During 2025, the “Health for the People 2025” program has provided 22,623 medical services, including 4,448 medical consultations, 5,956 medications delivered, 1,007 dental consultations, 3,558 dental procedures, 1,250 interpretations of clinical studies, 5,232 laboratory studies, 587 vision exams and 585 glasses delivered, thus consolidating itself as one of the most important social programs of the current administration.

The mayor Lourdes Paz He highlighted that these actions reflect his government’s commitment to well-being and equal opportunities in access to health, as well as the scope and effectiveness of the program: “In Iztacalco, health is a right and not a privilege. With this program we bring medical care closer to those who need it most and we strengthen prevention as the basis for the well-being of families.”

The “Health for the People 2025” Clinic has specialized medical personnel and adequate equipment to cover the basic health needs of the population and offers services that include unlimited general medical, dental and optometry consultations, free medications from the basic table (more than 200 types that cover 95 diseases), as well as laboratory studies (up to six per year per person).

Complete prescription lenses are also provided – up to two per year – and free dental procedures are performed, such as cleaning, extractions, resins, fluoride application, sealants and x-rays. The clinic also has a pharmacy, clinical laboratory and optometry office with more than 60 frame models available.

The “Health for the People 2025” Clinic is open from Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., it is located at Avenida Coyuya number 208, La Cruz Coyuya neighborhood.

To register, it is necessary to go to the Clinic facilities with the following requirements: be a resident of the Iztacalco Mayor’s Office, official identification (INE), proof of address, CURP of the applicant, proof of non-salaried person issued by the IMSS or ISSSTE; and in the case of minors, birth certificate, CURP and document proving parental authority, guardianship or custody.
