Meanwhile, Charles Leclerc was moved to second position by finishing with a time of 1:17.024. For his part, Lewis Hamilton, also from Ferrari, completed the podium and will start third tomorrow by achieving a time of 1:15.938.

Meanwhile, Australian Oscar Piastri of McLaren, current leader of the drivers’ championship, finished in eighth position. For his part, Max Vestappen of Red Bull, who remains in the fight for the title, finished in fifth place.
In the first cut, Franco Colapinto, Lance Stroll, Pierre Gasly, Alex Albon and Gabriel Bortoleto were eliminated.
Liam Lawson, Fernando Alonso, Nico Hulkenberg, Esteban Ocon and Yuki Tsunoda were left out for the second cut.
Max Verstappen will seek to win his sixth Mexican Grand Prix this Sunday, but unlike previous years he will have to endure a tough battle with the big favorites, the McLarens and the Ferraris.
