A video on social networks caused outrage because two doctors recorded themselves with clown filters mocking a patient who was screaming in pain at the General Hospital of Zone No. 2 of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in Irapuato, Guanajuato.
The images went viral and in them you can see two young people in surgical uniforms, caps and face masks laughing and using a cell phone camera filter while they respond to the screams of what appears to be a patient.

The doctors uploaded the video to their social networks where it began to circulate, triggering complaints from users, until reaching the authorities of the IMSS Guanajuato, who issued an information card regarding what happened.
In said document, the local IMSS reported that it categorically condemns any conduct contrary to the principles of respect, ethics and professionalism that govern public service and medical care and revealed that these were two undergraduate internal doctors who carried out said actions.

“The actions by the undergraduate internal doctors do not correspond to the code of conduct under which the Institute’s public servants must abide,” the card reads.
Likewise, the institute published a video in which they assured that an internal investigation had been initiated to clarify the facts, determine responsibilities and apply the corresponding administrative sanctions if necessary.
