Perry and Trudeau were first spotted dining together in Montreal in July 2025. The Daily Mail published photographs in October showing the pair embracing and kissing aboard a yacht. The images showed Perry in a black swimsuit and Trudeau shirtless in jeans.
In September, multiple sources told Us Weekly that Perry and Trudeau had been seeing each other privately.
“They’ve decided to be much more private about it,” one insider stated. “They are still speaking and are very interested in each other.”
Another source described the relationship as “not serious” currently, citing Perry’s tour schedule. “Justin has made plans to see her when she has downtime in a few weeks when she gets back from her tour in Brazil,” the source said. “Katy is taking it day by day but is very open to dating.”
