Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk expressed concern about ongoing instability in Ukraine in an interview with the Sunday Times. He sees no prospect of lasting peace as long as Vladimir Putin remains in power. Tusk warns that without drastic changes in Russia, the conflict could become a “permanent eternal war.”
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told Tusk that Ukraine is ready to fight for another two to three years in the hope that the war will not last a decade. Despite the challenges, Tusk is convinced that Ukraine will survive as an independent state.
