The old Court in the last year and a half – Diario Basta!

At least ten contracts signed with different digital and printed media were identified during the period from January to June 2025.

Mexico City.- During the final period of the old Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN)headed by the minister Norma Lucía Piña Hernándezdozens of contracts were signed for advertising services in different print and digital media. Between 2024 and the first half of 2025, the amount exceeded 3 million pesos.

To go deeper, in the period between January and December 2024, the Court entered into a total of 134 contracts for the dissemination of official advertising in digital and print media. At the end of the third semester, the amount allocated by the body was around 2 million 886 thousand pesos. In the first 3 quarters of that year, 59 contracts were registered, but for the last quarter – October to December – the SCJN entered into another 75 instruments.

The beneficiaries of the Court’s expenses were varied and in different amounts. For example, the firm La Guerrila created a total of 10 murals in different states of the country for a total of 348 thousand pesos. To a magazine, the amount assigned was 373 thousand pesos, within the framework of a campaign for International Women’s Day.

Two other printed media added amounts of more than 400 thousand pesos to carry out the dissemination of messages and campaigns, both on the web and in printed format.

Finally, during its last period of office – between January and June mainly – it was detected that the Supreme Court signed ten other instruments with different companies to disseminate content alluding to 8M, as well as the distribution of banners and plans, for an amount that was around 302,500 pesos.
