Mexico City, October 26 (However).- Lando Norris of McLaren won this afternoon Mexico City Grand Prix 2025. With his victory, the first in our country, the British driver positions himself as the new leader of the drivers’ championship of the Formula 1 with 357 points.
Charles Leclerc of Ferrari finished in second place, while third place went to Max Verstappen. The surprise of the day was the British Oliver Bearman of Hass, who finished in fourth position. Meanwhile, Lewis Hamiltonwho had started the race in third position, fell to eighth place after a 10-second penalty to Lewis Hamilton.

Lando thus closes with a great weekend after having achieved pole position this Saturday and momentarily placed himself at the head of the fight for the title. His teammate, Oscar Piastri, who arrived in Mexican territory as the leader, dropped to second position in the championship with 354 points, while Red Bull’s Max Verstappen stayed in third place with 310 units.
With four races left – Brazil, Las Vegas, Qatar and Abu Dhabi – before the end of this Formula 1 season, the fight for the drivers’ championship is more alive than ever and will keep thousands of fans around the world waiting for what may happen.
According to the organizers, this Sunday’s attendance was 153,867 people, while the total for the weekend was 401,326 people.
