Sachin Chandwade death: Marathi actor and ‘Jamtara 2’ star dies by suicide at 25

Actor Sachin Chandwade, known for his role in the popular series Jamtara 2, has died by suicide at the age of 25, leaving fans in shock.

Sachin Chandwade’s Death Reason

As reported by Maharashtra Times, Sachin Chandwade was found hanging at his home on October 23, 2025. His family discovered him and rushed him to a nearby hospital, but doctors were unable to save him. As his condition deteriorated, he was transferred to a hospital in Dhule, where he passed away around 1:30 am on the night of October 24.

Sachin Chandwade had nurtured a passion for acting since childhood. While working full-time in the IT sector, he continued to pursue his dream of performing. Hailing from Parola in Jalgaon district, he worked as a software engineer at Pune IT Park while building his acting career. His role in Jamtara: Season 2 earned him recognition and opened new opportunities in the industry.

Preparing for new film release

Just five days before his passing, Sachin shared the motion poster of his upcoming Marathi film Asurvan. Directed by Sachin Ramchandra Ambat and starring Pooja Moily and Anuj Thakare, the film is scheduled for release later this year. He played a key role in the project and had expressed excitement about it on social media. Although not very active online, Sachin occasionally posted updates about his work. In September 2022, he shared a picture from the sets of Jamtara 2. He was also part of a Dhol Tasha squad, sharing images during Ganeshotsav and Gudi Padwa, where he performed alongside other Marathi artists.
