More than a gastronomic event, the Chefs Week proposes a cultural celebration of the art of receiving, bringing together signature kitchen, wines of excellence, table design, performance and live musicin iconic settings in the capital.
O Ajuda National Palaceformer residence of the Portuguese royal family, hosts three themed banquets (€120) between the 28th and 30th of October, in collaboration with renowned national and international chefs.
On October 28th, the “Rio de Janeiro Banquet”, a celebration of the guest State, has the chefs João Paulo Frankenfeld, from Casa 201, Rio de Janeiro, with a Michelin star, and Nelson Soares, from the Sult restaurant, in Cascais.

On October 29th, the “Portugal Land and Sea Banquet”, with Vítor Matos, from Antiqvvm, with two Michelin stars, and Arnaldo Azevedo, from Vila Foz, both from Porto.
On October 30th, the “Norwegian Sea Banquet”, with Carlos de Medeiros, from Bar Amour, in Oslo, with one Michelin star, and Luís Gaspar, from the Sala de Corte restaurant, in Lisbon, in partnership with the Seafood from Norway / Bacalhau da Norway label.
The D. Luís Room of the Palace becomes the stage for a modern and sophisticated production. The decorations are entirely provided by the brands Vista Alegre and Bordallo Pinheiro, in an exclusive table service that combines tradition and contemporary. The harmonization of banquets is the responsibility of the sommelier Manuel Moreira, who will exclusively suggest wines from the Lisbon region as a guiding thread of the experience.

During the week, seven emblematic restaurants in the city are part of the Rota Chefs Weekwith exclusive menus paired with Lisbon Wines at a fixed price of €65, providing an enogastronomic journey through the diversity of the region. “This connection to the land, flavors and creativity is also a celebration of the work carried out by the Lisbon Region Wine Commission”, it is announced in a statement, “which finds here a high point of affirmation of its wines as ideal companions at the table — gastronomic, versatile, authentic”.

Restaurants with exclusive menus at Rota Chefs Week
Each day of Chefs Week, a restaurant from the capital joins the event, with October 27th being the Costa restaurantby Olivier da Costa, start the program. It follows the 28th, the Nunes Real Marisqueiraat 29, the restaurant Planoand on the 30th, the restaurant Áurea. Finalizes the October list, the Soi Asian Street Food.
On November 1st there is a special menu at Ryoshiby Lucas Azevedo, and on the 2nd, Ljubomir Stanisic ends the week at Bistro 100 Maneiras. O Lisbon Wine Menu Chefs Week has a fixed price of €65 (per person, wines included). Reservations are recommended and must be made directly with participating restaurants.
Chefs Week ends with a bang with the 26th edition of the event Essence of Wine – Lisbonwhich takes place between the 1st and 3rd of November, at the Lisbon Congress Center. The initiative is one of the biggest references, nationally and internationally, of events dedicated to wine, with hundreds of producers and thousands of visitors expected.
