HEPHZIBAH, Ga. (WJBF) – An 18-year-old and a 16-year-old were shot on Butler Manor Drive in Hephzibah Monday night, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.
According to police, deputies responded to the 2800 block of Butler Manor Drive at approximately 8:22 p.m. on Oct. 27 in reference to two down from gunshot wounds.
One male was shot multiple times in the chest and another male was shot once, according to the report.
Both victims are in route to Wellstar in serious condition, according to police.
The incident is being investigated as an aggravated assault. Law enforcement officers are currently on the scene.
No information on a suspect has been provided at this time.
