Rajasthan Weather: Light to moderate rainfall, temperature drops
The IMD has issued a rainfall alert for 23 districts of Rajasthan, including Jaipur, due to the impact of Cyclone Montha. Light to moderate rain began on Monday afternoon and continued through the night, leading to a fall in temperature across several parts of the state.

Uttar Pradesh Weather: Unseasonal rain and temperature fluctuations
The weather department has warned of unseasonal rain and changing temperatures in Uttar Pradesh. Rain and thunderstorms are likely at isolated places in both western and eastern Uttar Pradesh on October 28. Weather may remain clear in western parts on October 29, while light rain is expected in eastern UP. Rainfall activity could continue until October 30.
Cyclone Montha Weather Forecast Delhi
Delhi and nearby areas may see cloudy skies and light drizzle in the next two days as the remnants of Cyclone Montha move northward. The IMD said the temperature could drop slightly, especially during the night, with wind speeds between 20 and 30 kmph in some areas.

Maharashtra’s Vidarbha region is expected to receive moderate to heavy rainfall between October 28 and 30. The IMD has issued a ‘yellow’ alert for Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Wardha, Washim, Yavatmal, Bhandara, Gondia, and Nagpur districts. Thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds reaching 40–50 kmph are likely at isolated places.

Cyclone Montha is likely to cross the Andhra Pradesh coast between Machilipatnam and Kalingapatnam, around Kakinada, on October 28. The storm is expected to bring heavy rainfall and strong winds up to 110 kmph. Coastal districts including Kakinada, Visakhapatnam, and Konaseema are on high alert.
Cyclone Montha Weather Forecast Odisha and Telangana
The IMD has placed Odisha, Telangana, and adjoining regions on ‘orange’ and ‘red’ alerts for heavy rainfall from October 28 to 30. In Telangana, districts such as Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Bhadradri Kothagudem, and Mulugu are expected to see intense showers and strong winds. Odisha’s southern districts, including Ganjam and Gajapati, are also likely to receive heavy rain.
Cyclone Montha Weather Forecast West Bengal
Several districts in West Bengal are likely to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall between Tuesday and Friday. The IMD said rainfall of 7 to 20 cm is expected in Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar, and Cooch Behar. Heavy downpour is also likely over Uttar and Dakshin Dinajpur and Malda districts.
Cyclone Montha Weather Forecast Karnataka: Light to moderate rainfall in Bengaluru
In Karnataka, the IMD forecast light to moderate rainfall in Bengaluru and adjoining areas over the next 12 hours. The city will see cloudy skies with a maximum temperature of around 29°C and a minimum of 21°C. Several areas of Karnataka are under a ‘yellow’ alert on October 28.

Although the main impact of Cyclone Montha is over eastern and southern India, parts of Gujarat may witness cloudy weather and light rain over the next two days due to changes in wind patterns. The IMD said coastal areas might experience slight humidity and scattered showers.
