The apostle San Judas Tadeo, patron of difficult causes, is one of the most deeply rooted devotions in Mexico City. Year after year, thousands of faithful make pilgrimages to the temple located on Paseo de la Reforma and Avenida Hidalgo which, although dedicated to San Hipólito and San Casiano, has housed since the sixties of the 20th century the image of San Judas Tadeo brought from Barcelona by Claretian priests in 1933.
At first the statue was on the side altars, but the fervor of the population caused it to be moved to the main altar, between the saints to whom the temple is consecrated and below the image of the Virgin Mary.
