According to the former deputy, the complaint is filed for inconsistencies and alleged serious irregularities in the financial and tax declarations of Senator López Hernández.
“The reported facts derive from journalistic investigations and public documents that show undeclared income of $79 million pesosand some of them allegedly coming from private companies that would have been contractors of the Government of Tabasco when he was governor of the entity,” he said.

With this resource, what the PAN member seeks is to initiate a comprehensive investigation into the evolution of López Hernández’s assets, the analysis of his tax and asset statements for the years 2023 to 2025, as well as the intervention of the UIFthe Federal Prosecutor’s Office and the Attorney General’s Office (FGR).

Requests the intervention of the SAT in order to prove the real and verifiable existence of each operation that was declared in its tax obligations and to provide a view to the Public Ministry since there is sufficient evidence to open a formal investigation, in order to determine the existence of criminal responsibility for the commission of tax crimes or corruption.
Former deputy María Elena Pérez-Jaén emphasized that this case represents an emblematic example of how corruption and asset simulation affect institutional credibility, and reiterated that “No public servant, no matter how powerful, can be above the law.”.
He urged the Internal Comptroller of the Senate of the Republic to act impartially, in accordance with the principles of legality and administrative responsibility.
