Judicial Disciplinary Court installs the Labor Conflict Commission of the Judiciary

He Judicial Disciplinary Court (TDJ) formally declared installed the Labor Disputes Commissionbody in charge of resolving disputes between the Judicial Branch of the Federation (PJF) and its workers, in a key step towards the consolidation of a labor justice fairer, transparent and humane internal system.

The Magistrate Celia Maya Garcíathe Judge Indira Isabel García Pérez and the Judge Rufino H. León Tovar, They will preside over the body in charge of addressing labor disputes within the Federal Judicial Branch.

During the installation session, the president of the TDJ, Magistrate Celia Maya García, highlighted that labor conflicts are not desirablebut inevitable in the performance of public service. For this reason, he guaranteed that the new Commission will provide adequate treatment and fair resolutions to the issues that arise.

Maya García stressed that the Court’s commitment is to serve society with professionalism and contribute to making the labor reform a success and thereby strengthen citizen confidence in the justice bodies.

Impartiality, conciliation and respect for labor rights

For her part, Judge Indira Isabel García Pérez described the installation of the Commission as “the cornerstone of the TDJ”, reaffirming the commitment to provide prompt, effective and impartial solutions to conflicts that arise between the PJF and its workers, including those of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation.
He explained that the body will work under the principles of legality, due process, human rights, equity and labor justice, always prioritizing conciliation.

Judge Rufino H. León Tovar, also a member of the Commission, recalled that his creation responds to article 123 of the Constitution, which grants the Judiciary the power to autonomously regulate conflicts with its personnel. He assured that the body will act with ethics, professionalism and adherence to the law.

A firm step towards a more humane and transparent labor justice

Representing the Judicial Administration Body (OAJ), Master Catalina Ramírez Hernández stated that the installation of the Commission represents a firm step towards the consolidation of a more transparent and humane internal labor justice, guaranteeing impartial processes that respect the rights of workers.

Likewise, Sergio Javier Molina Martínez, director of the National Judicial Training School, proposed that this new stage promote decent work, in accordance with the guidelines of the International Labor Organization (ILO), which promotes equal opportunities, decent wages, respect for freedom of association and elimination of discrimination.

The secretary general of Union of Workers of the Judicial Branch of the Federation (STPJF), Jesús Gilberto González Pimentelcelebrated the creation of a commission “to guarantee labor rights, employment stability and fair and progressive remuneration.”

The session was also attended by judges Verónica de Gyvés Zárate, Bernardo Bátiz Vázquez, and representatives of the OAJ, Lorena Josefina Pérez Romo and José Alberto Gallegos Ramírez.
