Eagle-eyed fans think they may have found a clue that Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman and her soon-to-be ex-husband, country musician Keith Urban, could reconcile. Nicole filed for divorce in September after almost 20 years together, citing irreconcilable differences. However, a source close to the 58-year-old told People that the actress — who had been living apart from Keith since the summer — didn’t want the split and was ‘fighting to save the marriage.’ (Picture: Getty Images)
Now, internet sleuths think they’ve got evidence that the former couple could potentially get back together, and it’s all to do with social media. Fans have spotted that Nicole and Keith still follow each other on Instagram. While The Hours actress boasts 10.7 million on the platform, she only follows 372 people. One of those is Keith. Meanwhile, the Grammy Winner, who has 2.8 million followers, only follows 115 accounts. Surprise surprise, one of them is Nicole. (Picture: Getty Images)
Of course, this is all just speculation — in reality, the pair following each other on socials likely means very little. Similarly, Nicole and Keith’s divorce papers have revealed some surprising child custody arrangements, further solidifying their separation. The couple share two daughters together: Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. (Picture: Getty Images)
In court documents obtained by the Daily Mail and signed by the former couple, the pair have agreed that Nicole will have custody of the girls 306 days of the year, while Keith will receive just 59. His time has been scheduled as 10am on Saturdays until 6pm on Sundays every other weekend. Sunday and Faith will live with their mother for the rest of the time. (Picture: Matrix/GC Images)
In terms of special occasions, they have been divided so Nicole will have their daughters on Mother’s Day and over Easter, and Keith will have them for Father’s Day and during Thanksgiving. The parents have agreed to make big decisions involving their children together, such as education. Neither will pay nor receive monthly child or spousal support either. It was reported that Keith has ‘already prepaid all child support obligations.’ (Picture: Getty Images)
Additional rules written into the document include the former couple not ‘speaking badly’ of one another or other family members. They also promise to ‘encourage’ Sunday and Faith to ‘love the other parent and be comfortable in both families’. (Picture: WireImage)
Nicole and Keith first met in January 2005 at the G’Day USA gala in Los Angeles, an event celebrating Australians in Hollywood. In May 2006, they announced their engagement. A month later, the pair were wed at an intimate but lavish ceremony at St. Patrick’s Estate in Sydney, surrounded by their family, friends, and a string of celebrity guests, including Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, and Naomi Watts. Amid the split, it seems Nicole has thrown herself headfirst into work. On Sunday, she took to the runway for the annual Vogue World event, which took place in Hollywood this year. Donning a Chanel by Matthieu Blazy black, draped satin bustier gown with a revealing leg split and matching evening gloves, she put on a faultless performance of Rita Hayworth’s ‘Don’t Put the Blame on Mame,’ from the iconic 1946 noir romance movie, Gilda.
