The government media office in Gaza said – today, Wednesday – that Israel published a list of 26 names, and claimed that they belonged to Palestinians it killed during its latest aggression during the past 24 hours, but it turned out that the list contains fictitious, non-Arab names and others who are alive.
This came in a statement by the office, in response to a list published by Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adraee on the Telegram platform, which he claimed included the names of leaders in the Palestinian resistance who were killed during the past hours.
In its statement, the Gaza Information Office said, “The Israeli occupation continues its systematic campaign of misinformation, falsification, and spreading lies with the aim of distorting the truth and covering up its ongoing crimes against the civilian population in the Gaza Strip.”
He explained that the Israeli army “published a list of 26 names, including 21 photos, which it claimed belonged to people killed during its recent brutal aggression, which took place 24 hours ago.”
He continued that after checking, it turned out that the list contains 3 incorrect, non-Arabic names that are not included in official Palestinian records, in addition to fictitious names that do not exist in reality, and some of them had no pictures intentionally attached at all.
It also turned out that the list includes the names of 4 people who were not martyred and were not present in the targeted areas at all, and they are alive, according to the office’s statement.
