Mexico City, October 29 (However).- The Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) and the Decentralized Administrative Body for Prevention and Social Reintegration (Pure) launched a call to recruit doctors and prison doctors, nurses and prison nurses y penitentiary prevention officerswhich will be open during 2025.
What are the requirements?
Applicants to work in the prison system must meet different requirements that the SSPC made available on the official website of the Government of Mexico.
In the case of vacancies for prison doctors, these are:
- Have a degree and license as a General Physician or similar.
- Be a Mexican citizen by birth.
- Be between 22 and 55 years of age.
- Have schedule availability and/or change residence.
- Pass trust control evaluations.
- If you have belonged to a police corporation, prosecutor’s office or security institution, submit the corresponding discharge sheet.

Regarding vacancies for penitentiary prevention officer, the requirements are:
- Have a minimum of secondary education (prove level of education with a certificate, title and/or ID).
- Be a Mexican citizen by birth.
- Be between 18 and 38 years old.
- Minimum height: 1.58 for women and 1.64 for men.
- Have schedule availability and/or change of residence.
- Not having been convicted by an irrevocable sentence for an intentional crime, nor being subject to criminal proceedings.
- Not be suspended or have been dismissed or disqualified by a firm resolution of any supervisory body.
- In the case of men, having completed National Military Service.
- Do not use psychotropic substances, narcotics or others that produce similar effects, nor suffer from alcoholism.
- That the applicant’s health status allows him or her to participate in activities that require physical effort, without putting his or her integrity or health at risk.
- Do not exceed the Body Mass Index (BMI) of 34.9 kg/m2 (kilograms per square meter).

While in the case of aspiring nurses, the requirements are:
- Have a degree and certificate of bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Be a Mexican citizen by birth.
- Be between 22 and 55 years old.
- Have schedule availability and/or change of residence.
- Pass trust control evaluations.
- If you have belonged to a police corporation, prosecutor’s office or security institution, submit the corresponding discharge sheet.
How to register?
For the recruitment process, the SSPC made available the telephone line with the number 55-5128-1115, and the extensions 17707, 17724,17740,17742 and 17778. The opening hours in this regard are Monday to Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and the process can also be carried out by email: operacion.ceccprs@oadprs,gob.mx.


However, the following registration process was also made available to citizens:
- First you have to enter this link to complete a form.
- Once registered or registered, it will be sent to an email in a maximum of 10 business days that will have a unique username and password.
- Then you must upload said information through the Comprehensive Trust Control Evaluation System (SIECC) at the link
