MEXICO CITY. – A control judge issued preventive detention to the four elements of UNAM Security for the alleged crime of qualified homicide committed against Rodrigo Mondragona fan of the Cruz Azul Club, who died of asphyxiation in the parking lot of the Olympic University Stadium.

According to testimony from the detainees, Rodrigo Mondragonwho was allegedly under the influence of alcohol, physically attacked them, so they subdued him to hand him over to the SSC, but during the transfer he fainted and paramedics confirmed his death.
The UNAM He stated in a statement that the videos about this event were handed over to the capital’s Prosecutor’s Office to collaborate in the investigations and determine responsibilities.

According to article 128 of the local Penal Code, qualified homicide is punishable by a sentence of twenty to fifty years in prison.
