While the governor has launched an offensive on social networks to promote his image and his achievements at the head of the state, a review of a dozen audits carried out on that entity, as part of the inspection of the Public Account 2024corresponding to García’s fourth year at the head of the entity, reports two anomalies in the execution of works.
The greatest observation was in the Social Infrastructure Fund for Entitieswith alleged damage to the Public Treasury by 50.6 million pesos.

Anomaly in the Ministry of Mobility and Urban Planning
One of the anomalies found is 4.9 million pesosbecause the Ministry of Mobility and Urban Planning undertook a project with federal funds to support people living in extreme poverty in the construction of rooms.

The failures resulted in the “rooms having not been delivered to the beneficiaries, so they are not in operation, and they do not provide the programmed benefits to the fund’s target population.”
Unfinished works in Nuevo León
Works were found with delivery certificates, but unfinished or completely unexecuted in terms of rehabilitation of health clinics or community centers, for which damage to the Public Treasury is presumed. 1.3 million pesos.
In terms of education, in the construction of four classrooms with bathrooms in areas of extreme poverty, the ASF detected that although the work “is documented to be completed, finalized and with a certificate of delivery and reception, it was not concluded or in operation, so it did not meet the objective established for the Social Infrastructure Fund for Entities nor did it benefit the population in extreme poverty, localities with high or very high levels of social backwardness.”
In turn, others 10.9 million pesos They were labeled as alleged damage to the treasury by three clinics that could be classified as white elephants, since the works have already been completed, with administrative offices and bathrooms, in areas of extreme poverty, but they are still not operational, possibly due to lack of medical equipment.
The ASF found irregularities of 49.5 million pesos for not reintegrating the remaining resources of the Drinking Water, Drainage and Treatment Programas well as 24.4 million pesos to pay for works 2022 with a budget of 2024without “documentation that justifies the upward cost adjustment and that said adjustment was requested, authorized and calculated within the established times and in accordance with the applicable regulations.”
