Nor will it be possible to blow “Remember me” without permission
Some Town in Michoacán.- Disney has ordered the immediate removal of all altars of the dead that include photos alluding to its film Coco.
In the middle of the Day of the Dead season, the mouse company issued a statement warning that the use of images of Miguelito, Dante or Mama Coco could lead to legal problems for the owners of the houses where the altars in question are displayed.
“Celebrate what you want, but don’t put our characters on your altars.”He briefly understood the statement, before moving on to the legal warnings section.
Using images of Coco without permission is a serious offense
According to the company, dozens of offerings have been detected in Mexico with figures or images from the film, which “constitutes a serious infringement of the image rights of characters belonging to the Disney-Pixar universe, living or dead.”
“Y“Or I just put Héctor next to my uncle Toño because they both look alike,” explained a woman from Michoacán who already received a notification with a letterhead from an enraged Mickey.
In my house there is always a small altar, but two years ago my mom and I decided to make it a little bigger for the day of the dead (because she was very excited about the coconut movie and so on). I never imagined that this year I would do it to my mother.

Consistent with its reputation for being inflexible, Disney would have deployed an army of lawyers in search of altars that violate its trademark, equipped with radars to detect portraits of Miguelito.
““They just need to fine me for whistling. Remember me.”lamented an artisan from Oaxaca while placing a label with the legend “Not property of Disney” on a portrait of Frida Kahlo.

And to be up to date: some IMSS doctors made fun of a patient, and this is how it went on the networks.
