Celebrity Traitors star Cat Burns has postponed her upcoming How To Be Human Tour to April 2026 after an ‘intense’ build up she didn’t anticipate.

The People Pleaser hitmaker, 25, took to social media and explained it was a difficult decision, but one she needs to make to ensure she’s ‘taking care of my wellbeing’.

The tour was due to kick off on November 10 as Glasgow’s O2 Academy, before moving to Manchester, Brighton, Wolverhampton, Newcastle, Bournemouth, Bristol and ending at Brixton’s O2 Academy on November 30.

‘This album and tour mean the world to me,’ Cat, who is currently smashing it as a Traitor on the BBC show, began in a social media announcement.

‘It’s been a massive journey getting ready to share How To Be Human with you. I can’t believe it’s nearly here!! But unfortunately the build-up has been a lot more intense than any of us expected so, myself and my team have made the difficult decision to move the How To Be Human Tour to April 2026,’ she continued.

‘Touring is incredibly demanding mentally and physically, and I want to make sure I’m taking care of my wellbeing so I’m in the right headspace to give you the show you deserve.

‘When I step on stage, I really want to feel my best and give you a night that feels worth every moment of waiting.’

All tickets will remain valid for the new April dates, but Cat confirmed they were unable to reschedule Wolverhampton, so refunds for that are available, and she’s added a brand new Birmingham show.

After confirming he record store shows are ‘going ahead’ as planned, Cat said: ‘Thank you for your patience, kindness, and understanding through this! These decisions are never easy and I don’t take your support for granted! I can’t wait to see you soon and make these shows everything they should be.’

Appearing on The One Show later this evening, Cat – who will be performing on the Strictly Come Dancing Halloween special this weekend – explained that her autism and ADHD is behind the postponement.

‘It’s really important to me that my mental is okay, because this job is really forward facing and having to meet lots of people, and it’s very intense.

‘With everything going on I wanted to make sure I put my all into the tour and give myself enough time to recharge and reset.’

More to follow.
