MÉRIDA.- The National Renewal Union at the Service of Workers of the Judicial Branch of the Federation announced that it will carry out a total suspension of work under the modality of “drooping arms” tomorrow October 31thus joining the measure in all the jurisdictional bodies of the country.
In a statement, he noted that the measure responds to the serious lack of essential inputs for the operation of federal courts, such as printers, stationery, water, cafeterias and replacement of personnel in vacant positions.
Dismissals and non-payment in the federal Judiciary
The union also denounced massive dismissals of public servantsthe failure to comply with the annual salary increase and the lack of the retroactive payment promised by the Judicial Administration Body.
According to the document, only services will be maintained guard to attend to urgent caseswith the aim of not violating fundamental rights.

“The temporary closure is adopted as a last resort before the repeated omission of authority administrative to guarantee the minimum conditions necessary for the administration of justice,” states the text signed by the general secretary of the union, Dr. Juan Alberto Prado Gómez.
The organization reiterated its willingness to dialoguebut warned that the judicial operation cannot be sustained without inputs or recognition of the work of judicial personnel.
Likewise, he called on citizens to understand the situation and urged the authorities to fulfill their obligations to avoid the prolongation of the strike.
