WARSAW / LONDON (IT BOLTWISE) – Boeing is intensifying its efforts to attract Poland to purchase F-15EX fighter jets. The company offers not only the aircraft, but also a comprehensive industrial cooperation package aimed at strengthening the Polish defense industry. The MQ-28 Ghost Bat drone will also be presented as part of the offer.

The Polish government plans to purchase up to 32 new fighter jets, and Boeing has made an attractive offer for the F-15EX. In addition to technical advantages such as carrying capacity, range and speed, Boeing offers a comprehensive industrial cooperation package aimed at strengthening the Polish defense industry. This also includes the introduction of the MQ-28 Ghost Bat drone, which could serve as a loyal wingman for the F-15EX.
To promote collaboration, Boeing has held discussions with potential industrial partners in Poland. On October 29, the company held a Boeing Industry Day in Warsaw to discuss cooperation opportunities. In addition to the F-15EX, the KC-46 tanker is also being promoted as part of the offer in Poland.
Marissa Myers, senior manager of business development at Boeing, emphasized that the company is looking for partners working in manufacturing, services, research and development, as well as maintenance, repair and overhaul. Poland already has MRO capacities that could be integrated into the cooperation.
Talks have already begun between Boeing and Poland on the MQ-28 Ghost Bat drone, considered one of the most advanced collaborative fighter aircraft on the market. This drone could significantly expand the capabilities of the Polish Air Force.
Poland also has the option to acquire 32 more fifth-generation fighter jets, which could be added to the 32 F-35s already ordered. Alternatively, Poland could opt for a European air superiority aircraft such as the Eurofighter Typhoon, produced by a consortium of Airbus, BAE Systems and Leonardo.
Boeing has stepped up its efforts in Poland after signing a contract to supply 96 AH-64E Apache attack helicopters in 2024. This contract is worth about US$10 billion and was supplemented by another US$300 million contract in which Poland leased eight AH-64D helicopters from the US.
